JUMP partners closely with the Yokosuka Council on Asia Pacific Studies (YCAPS) and the Japan America Navy Friendship Association – Newport (JANAFA-Newport) to provide academic seminars and social networking events for military communities in Yokosuka, Japan and Newport, Rhode Island.
Our cooperation and sponsorship of these organizations has allowed them to expand their programming to nearby communities and invite guests with academic expertise to participate in valuable professional development workshops for service members. Both of these organizations have rotating leadership.
