On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies will be hosting the latest edition of their “Community Conversation” series.

This month marks ten years since the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, as well as the ensuing nuclear crisis, hit Japan. Please join speakers Dr. Kyle Cleveland, Associate Professor of Sociology at Temple University, Japan Campus, and Mr. Martin Fackler, a long-time journalist of Japan, China, and East Asia, as they review the impact of the disaster and lessons learned.
