JUMP in Tampa: Fostering Friendship

JUMP held a special event in Tampa on June 28. The Consulate General of Japan in Miami hosted JUMP members for a reception with traditional Japanese food. The Honorable Ken Okaniwa, Consul General of Japan, gave a presentation. Guests also heard speeches by U.S. military members and were treated to a taiko drumming performance.

• Location: Port Tampa Bay, Terminal 6, 1333 McKay St., Tampa, FL 33602
• Dress Code: Military–Class B Uniform, Civilian–Business Casual
• RSVP: RSVP required. Email culture@mi.mofa.go.jp. Please include the following information in the RSVP email: Name; Rank/Title; Name of spouse (if applicable); Which year(s) attendee lived in Japan (if applicable); and name of base where attendee was stationed.
