Sasakawa USA to launch Japan-U.S. Military Program (JUMP) for Americans Who Have Served in Japan.
WASHINGTON, D.C.: April 29th marks an historic event in the U.S.-Japan relationship. In addition to featuring Japanese Prime Minister Abe at Sasakawa USA’s Second Annual Security Forum, in Sasakawa USA will launch a global initiative that will link U.S. armed forces in a more personal way. Called the Japan-U.S. Military Program (JUMP), this initiative will unite past and present service members, families and government civilians who have served in Japan.
“At Sasakawa USA, we work to increase understanding of U.S.-Japan relations,” said Admiral Dennis Blair. “We engage a variety of audiences on this topic through new programming, including U.S. military who have served in Japan – a group that has an incredibly unique perspective on the relationship.”
