In the News: JUMP reception planned at WWII museum
The Times-Picayune newspaper of New Orleans wrote a June 27 article previewing an upcoming JUMP event in partnership with the Japan Society of New Orleans.
The Japan-US Military Program (JUMP), which aims to connect past and present service members, families, and government civilians who have served in Japan.
“As one of the four Japan societies selected across the country to host a Japan-US Military event, we look forward to helping Japan to show its appreciation for the service of military and naval personnel in Japan,” said Mike Turner in the article. Turner is the JSNO president and was born in Japan while his father served there.
