#LifeinJapan Photo Contest Winner – Bob McFarland

Bob McFarland Facebook 1

JUMP is proud to announce the winner of May’s #LifeinJapan photo contest. Bob McFarland shared this photo of his family visiting Ikutsushima Shrine in Miyajima in 1985. This torii gate located in Hiroshima Prefecture is a popular tourist attraction because during high tide, the gate is surrounded by ocean water. During low tide, the ground is uncovered and visitors can walk right up to the gate.

Congratulations, Bob! We’ll be sending you a JUMP t-shirt!
