Celebrating a year of JUMP at first annual dinner
The first annual JUMP dinner, held March 3, 2016, brought together about 100 people who have served in Japan for a night of celebrating the U.S.-Japan alliance and the role of service members in strengthening the bond shared by our two countries.
The event featured keynote speaker General Robert Neller, Commandant of the Marine Corps, and Sasakawa USA CEO and Chairman Admiral Dennis Blair, former Director of National Intelligence and Commander of Pacific Command. Other special guests included the Honorable Tamaki Tsukada, Minister of Communications and Cultural Affairs with the Embassy of Japan; Adm. Jonathan Greenert, former Chief of Naval Operations; Gen. Ralph Edward “Ed” Eberhart, former Commander of U.S. Northern Command and Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command; Rear Admiral Yuki Sekiguchi (JMSDF); Gen. Richard Hawley, former Commander of Air Combat Command; and LtGen. Wallace “Chip” Gregson, former Assistant Secretary of Defense, Asian and Pacific Security Affairs.
